This band was awesome! Rod Ellicott played a fretless bass back then...he took a ridiculous solo that all tried to replicate,he had a way of slurring his notes in phrases fluently without pause, the whole band was ridiculous in composition...sheesh...after hearing "ShopTalk...I was done!!!

Still a fave after all these years...I remember when I first heard this around 1972-73 and it blew my mind! What an amazing voice!!! If I could have sung like her I'd 'ave quit my day job and gone on the road... Got to see her about 12-15 years ago, here in the Bay Area, and she STILL brought the house down!!! Damn, what a voice for singin' blues and rock! God bless you Lydia and Cold Blood for bringin' it every time you played. They left it all on the stage for all those lucky enough to see them play! Lydia reminded me, somewhat, of a female Joe Cocker live...she poured everything of herself, heart, soul, blood, sweat and tears into the music she sang, making everyone's songs her own.
